Per KTSM, apparently the Aggies were so happy with Reggie Theus they looked for his twin and came up with this man. Marvin Menzies was introduced as the new coach this afternoon. He replaced Theus at Louisville as Pitino's assistant two years ago. He is from the West Coast and is known as a great recruiter.

According to WKYT television out of Lexington, Pitino is prepared to hire former UK star Walter McCarty as the Cards' new assistant coach.
McCarty was a player under Pitino at both Kentucky and the Boston Celtics. McCarty didn't play in the NBA last season and has no coaching experience.

Drafted by the New York Knicks with the 19th pick of the 1996 NBA Draft, McCarty was traded to the Boston Celtics in 1997. Never a full-time starter, McCarty had a 10 year NBA career mostly with the Celtics but also with stints in Phoenix and the L.A. Clippers.

He totalled 3,056 points and 1,554 rebounds during his nearly 600 NBA games played.
